Car Accident Checklist
- Don’t Panic and move all vehicles out of the roadway (if possible).
- Call the Police-The police department will ask you if there are injured parties in the accident. Since you are in a state of shock, you will not know for sure how injured you are. Therefore, check for injuries right away before you call the police. If critical injuries are involved, ask for an ambulance.
- Take Photographs-take photographs of ALL vehicles involved in the accident (not just your own). Take photographs of the accident scene and people around (if possible).
- Exchange information with the parties-If you have a cell phone, take pictures of each driver’s car insurance card, driver’s license, registration and ask them for their phone number.
- Look for any witnesses and get their phone number.
- Do not give insurance companies a recorded statement.
- Consult with Premier Justice Law about your accident!
